“Azerbaijan Airlines” CJSC (AZAL) has resumed seasonal flights on the Ganja–Saint Petersburg–Ganja route as part of the summer tourism season.
According to the airline, the first flight departed from Ganja to Saint Petersburg on May 30 at 16:20 Baku time. Flights on this route will operate once a week, every Saturday.
AZAL noted that flights on this route were last operated at the end of the 2025 summer season. The relaunch of the route is aimed at meeting increased passenger demand and supporting tourism activity during the summer period.
Currently, Ganja International Airport offers several international destinations, including Moscow, Istanbul, and Saint Petersburg. Under the 2026 spring-summer schedule, the Ganja–Saint Petersburg route will continue to operate weekly.
